Day 1
We depart from Pretoria and follow the route via Roodepoort, Bloemfonteinto reach our destination for today in Colesberg.
Day 2
After breakfast we depart via Willowmore, Uniondaleand the beautiful Outeniqua Pass, through the woody Knysna where we will stay for the following 4 evenings at the Wilderness Hotel.
Day 3
A sacred day starting off with a visit to the historical Dutch Reformed Church in George where we will attend the Christmas Service. A scrumptious Christmas Feast awaits us for lunch.
Day 4
We depart from the hotel to George for an exciting day. We are going for a ride on the Outeniqua Power Van, through the most beautiful terrain, then we are off to the Outeniqua Transport Museum. We go to fill our hungry spots at the amazing Red Berry Farm, we are going for a great afternoon, visiting all the available stalls, and tasting all the goodies.
Day 5
After breakfast we leave for Mossel Bay.First on the menu is the very impressive Diaz Museum, there is so much to see, that we will spend most of the morning there, like the shell museum, the aquarium, the post office tree, the botanical garden, the fountain and the replica of the Diaz Caravel. After all the excitement we visit The Reeds for a relaxing wine tasting, then we go for a snoop around the stalls at Hart & Bosch market, where you can buy everything, you do not need. Later the afternoon we return to the Hotel.
Day 6
We say goodbye to Knysna and follow the route via Albertinia, Riversdal, Swellendamwhere we will stop for a visit to the Drostdy Museumand to view the beautiful Dutch Reformed Church.Then we are off to our destination for the next 2 nights the mystic Montagu.
Day 7
After breakfast, we go for a historical tour of the beautiful town of Montagu(by bus), to learn a bit more about the town. We stop, learn, and view some of the interesting buildings. After this educational drive we head towards the Cape Dry farmstall where we will learn more about dried fruits. There is also a variety of product on sale. We return to our hotel later the afternoon.
Day 8
Unfortunately, we must leave Montagu, and travel the breathtaking route via Barrydale, Ladysmith, and Calitzdorp (we stop at the interesting places next to the road). We reach our destination for the next 3 nights, Oudtshoorn.
Day 9
For old time’s sake this year we will visit the newly upgraded Cango Caves, and what is Oudtshoorn without a visit to a local Ostrich farm. Later the afternoon we return to the Hotel.

Day 10
Happy 2027. Today is a rest day. There is an excursion planned to visit a local ostrich product shop, or you can do as you please, before we must head back home tomorrow.

Day 11
This morning, we must pack up. We follow the route all the way back to where we started at Merino Inn in Colesberg. We spend the last evening in the beautiful Karoo.

Day 12
After breakfast we depart for the last stretch home. We depart with pleasant memories of a wonderful Festive Season, spent in the company of sociable friends. WHAT A WONDERFULL WAYS TO SPEND THE FESTIVE SEASON!
